Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder

 These are the typical scenario at the beach during this season of the year. Many people go to the beach to tan themselves, hang out with their friends and family and of course to surf and enjoy the waves. It’s so irony though because in my case, I was born tan naturally and I want to stay under the shade as much as possible because I dont want to get dark tan. On the other hand, American spends a lot of hours sunbathing under the scouring sun because they want to get tanned. They think that tan people are gorgeous (: anyway, hope you all enjoyed viewing my photos above.

This week’s photohunt theme is about “colorful”. And my entry is my daughter wearing her colorful summer attire. We were in our front yard getting ready to go somewhere at that time, but before we walk up to our van I took a couple of pictures of my children. They’re always my subject when I’m holding my camera. I hope my daughter will never get tired of striking me a pose when I ask her to do so because my son, he got tired of it and when he sees me holding my camera he’ll hide or ran off because he doesn’t like me taking pictures of him.

My husband came home from work last night saying that his company just fired another one of their mechanics. My husband works for a transportation company here in chula vista.  I asked my husband what happened because since this recession hit the country, his company has either laid off or fired some people. He said that the mechanic was caught by the security cameras on the bus driving a bus around town stopping at a convenience store to buy food when he was supposed to be road testing the bus for any mechanical problems. The security cameras on the 2700 series buses are running 24 hours a day constantly and management randomly picks buses to download the camera activity from the hard drive to a secured computer. Unfortunately, management picked the bus that the mechanic was working on. Cameras are everywhere in my husbands work.
