When it comes to gift giving why do we always have a hard time finding the best and cutest gift that we can possibly give to our loved ones? In my case, I want something that is so unique and that can rarely be seen in any of the local department stores. By the way, our 5th wedding anniversary is coming up and I am thinking about purchasing the unique anniversary gift I found at just paper roses dot com. They have this toilet paper printed with “Happy anniversary, I love you” and I thought this was so cute. I’ve never seen anything like this before. What I love about their products is that they have all kinds of anniversary gifts by year that you can choose from.

I also love this anniversary bear with cotton rose. Mind you guys, this gift is specifically made for those couples who will be celebrating their second wedding anniversary. Isn’t it so adorable? I can actually buy something similar to this, but it’s a little different. For those couples who are celebrating their 5th wedding anniversaries, just like me, I can get the bear with wood rose instead of the cotton rose. So perfect and they’re inexpensive too. I hope my husband will read this post so he can have some idea on what kind of gift I like on our wedding anniversary.

I love the camera that my husband purchased for me last year. It came with a video disk that talks about the basic use of DSLR camera’s. My husband used his tax return last year to buy me a New Nixon camera. Before I got my new camera, I was using a Canon camera that my husband got for a gift from his sister. It was a point and shoot type camera so it wasn’t one of those fancy kind. My husband was looking at the canon EOS Rebel T2i digital camera. He likes this camera and the company he works for (a transportation company) was advertising this kind of camera on their buses. This camera is easy to use, light weight, it’s a digital SLR camera with 18 mega pixel cmos image sensor. It’s just like the camera my husband bought me. Maybe one day he can buy one for himself.

Many people go to the beach to tan themselves, hang out with their friends and family and of course to surf and enjoy the waves. It’s so irony though because in my case, I was born tan naturally and I want to stay under the shade as much as possible because I dont want to get dark tan. On the other hand, American spends a lot of hours sunbathing under the scouring sun because they want to get tanned. They think that tan people are gorgeous (: anyway, hope you all enjoyed viewing my photos above.

I wonder when and who will be organizing the baby shower party for the sister in our congregation. She will be be giving birth soon. I didn’t receive any baby shower invitations yet. I think she will give birth in a couple of months but no one has informed me about her baby shower party yet. She’s having another boy. Her eldest son is already 4 years old and she fears that her son will get jealous of his soon-to-be little brother. Before she learned about her baby’s gender she was hoping to have a baby girl, but unfortunately she’s going to have another baby boy. I asked her if she wants to try to get pregnant again but she undoubtedly said “NO, I’m too old already”. She’s in her late 40’s and she doesn’t want to get pregnant anymore. I don’t blame her.

We want to take a vacation this year so we’re looking for the perfect Outer Banks vacation rental. We have relatives who live in North Carolina and we want to visit them. My husband wants to visit the airport museum with its rich aviation history. I want to see the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island because I love marine life. I talked to my cousin and she mentioned that Carolina Designs Realty could help us find the perfect beach rental home because they have been doing rentals for the last 20 years and many of her friends recommended them. The Washingtonian Magazine calls them the “Best Bet for Rentals” on the Outer Banks! I hope they can offer us a reasonable rate. We’ve posted several pictures of some beach rentals that we would be interested in renting along with our relatives who will accompany us. Stylish and classy huh?

I’ve heard that the facebook updated their policy which affected some of the users to reveal their posts publicly even though they set their settings privately. One teacher got fired because of her unethical posts in facebook that caused parents to dislike her. The teacher was blaming the facebook admin because accordingly her private settings were changed publicly after they did the updates. That’s one of the reason why I don’t want to put all my personal information on facebook or in any of the social network websites because I fear someone might steal my information and use it disgracefully. Another story that caught my attention about facebook is that, one person posted on her wall about her and her boyfriend were heading out somewhere for a date. Unfortunately, someone read her posts and went to her place, broke-in to her apartment and stole some of her belongings such as flat screen TV, stereo, jewelries and etc… The theft took advantage of it while the couple wasn’t home. Luckily she had camera installed in her living room and so they found out who were those thieves and believe it or not they were her friend’s friend. What she did was, she posted the video on facebook and one of her friend’s friends recognized one of the thieves and made a comment on her video informing her that she knew the thief. That’s how they caught one of the guys and jailed him. I think it’s the user’s fault too because they posted their personal information on facebook including their address and they had to shout their plans for the day on facebook. This is a lesson to all of us who have an account on facebook, we need to be extra careful in what we shout on our walls and please DON’T ever give out your personal information regardless.

I just turned the preschool handbooks in into the registrar’s office today. Oh boy, it was a lot of paper work, sign here and sign there. I had to fill up more or less 20 pieces of documents for my son’s record into their office. I remember, there were documents that states about low cost clothing (urban clothes), low cost of insurance, law enforcements and etc… At first I didn’t fill any of the boxes but when they checked it they told me to just fill them up even if I don’t want them just for their funding sake. I think they were required to do that by the state. It’s good though because they can assist us when it comes to finding some low costs services because they want to ensure that they are assisting the families of their students.

I was watching the local news today and it’s depressing to know that there are people who will take advantage of their disable family member for financial gain. The mother and her 28 year old son are now facing multiple charges in the court. They were suppose to take care of their family member who has cerebral palsy, it was believe that they receive five thousand dollars each month from the disability insurance to take care of the victim but rather they personally spent the money. The victim died and the authority found out that he died from the unsanitary home. They checked his place and it was nasty. Black molds were everywhere and even the refrigerator looks so filthy inside. The cans and bottles were everywhere too. There were human and animal feces everywhere. The bed of the victim is so disgusting and sickening. Those people who are responsible for his death deserves to be behind bars with no possible parole.

We should’ve listened to our intuition in the first place. I am talking about the mattress stain protector that we bought in the department store. We should’ve bought the ones that we’re offered to us by the clerk at the furniture store but we didn’t because we thought that the price was absurd. Instead we bought the cheaper ones at the Wal-Mart store thinking that it will be ok. Grreee! You don’t want to know what happen. The mattress protector looks terrible. It looks like cottony and you can easily peel the lint’s off. And besides every time we move it produces some roughing noise. That’s what we get from buying the cheap material. Inexpensive products are not always good.
