My son is really a good mimicker. Believe me or not all his words he learned it from watching his favorite educational shows every single day. Even reciting his ABC’s and counting numbers from 1 up to 20 and above, perhaps, he learned it from watching word world one of his favorite educational show. And I’m a proud parent because my son is absorbing words so easily and quickly. He can communicate to us now with no problem at all. Another thing that amuses me is that he is imitating the kids playing drums. And what he does every time we go to the store (toy section), he will go look for a stainless steel drums and starts pounding on it. I think we will get him one soon because I hate to see him drumming our stainless file cabinets. I think he likes to be a musician someday lol. Even when we went to the hospital to visit his grandma, he saw a pianist playing with his piano, and he hastily ran towards him and all of a sudden, he pressed some of the piano keys. I was so embarrassed when he did that. I don’t want people think that my son is not a disciplined child. I apologized to the pianist and he understands it. Then my son ask him if he can play “twinkle twinkle little star” which he did. And my son was singing along with his music. He look so cute!

Lucky you

My son’s cousin went to Vegas last year with his friends. We envied him because he was able to spend some time with his friends out of town. He showed us their pictures including the ones at las vegas hotels on the strip. Of course they never miss the opportunity to take pose in their famous billboard, image or sign that says Welcome to Las Vegas (whatever you may call it). I’m sure they had fun and unforgettable experience in Vegas. The question is? When can we go there?
No need to rent movies in the movie stores
My husband was bragging me about the movie that he saw the other day at work. He said that it was really a good movie that we should consider to watch. He wasn’t able to watch the whole movie because he had to work but he said that the movie is about an autistic child who was able to crack the government’s code using his toy or something like that. He was also told that the title of the movie is “Jackal”. So we went ahead and try the pay-per-view on HBO last night. We paid $2 which will be included in our next cable bill and we can watch the movie for 24 hours. Unfortunate, it wasn’t the movie that he was telling me about. I think his co-worker gave him the wrong title but it was still a good movie though. However, it was kind of violent and my son was saying “I’m scared” and covering his ears at the same time. I had to hold him and told him to not to watch it. My son is really raised in a good and loving environment because he’s not use to watching violent movies and he’s not used to hearing bad words either, that’s why he said he’s scared. We want him to be strong and become a good Christian. Anyways, at least we don’t have to go to the movie stores to rent movies because we can do it in just a click of our remote.
Thanks to her swing
It was a crazy night for me last night because my daughter was crying. I changed her diapers thinking that that was the reason for her fuss. It didn’t work. I sponge bath her, still didn’t work. I know she was tired because she tried to close her eyes and for some reason she was fighting herself to stay up. I rub her tummy and back to soothe her but that didn’t work either. My last resort was lying down with her and nursing at the same time but she cried still. I got tired of her fussiness, so once again I put her back in the swing and sway it harder, and then she fell asleep. What a relief for me afterwards because I was able to rest for a little bit. It was already midnight when she started snoring and it didn’t take long though. But this time when she woke up, I took her out of her swing and put her next to me. Thanks to her swing because it helps me a lot.
