My husband is really insisting that no matter what happens we will go back home in the PI for our second vacation as a family early next year. He even said that he don’t want to hear “we’ll not go home next year” if we could’ve because he’s really dying to go back home. That’s how much he loves my family and relatives over there. He said he feels more comfortable to be with my family than his (I dunno why). I thought to myself I will not believe unless we will have the tickets in our hands. We also planned for a few days getaways and I’m not sure when exactly but I think it’s coming soon. I told my husband that we will only use one day PTO because we will make sure that we will go during his days off. I don’t know how it’s gonna work yet since we will have other company with us. We’ll see!

So generous to my kids
Awww, so cute. Thank you so much sister Fowler! That was exactly my words to a friend who is so dear to us. She gave unique gifts for her (my daughter) and we really are surprised by it. She actually ordered it online and personalized it with my daughter’s name. How neat! What do you think? This friend of ours is so generous. When I had my friend first child she also gave him puzzle that’s made up of my son’s name. We love her not because she’s giving us material things but we love her because she’s like a mother to us. As a matter of fact my son calls her grandma.
Another wet weather for SanDiegans
People were still cleaning up from what the storm last week had left in their yards and now there’s another storm coming. Oh boy! Another wet weather for us here in San Diego. We’re sure that it snowed up in the mountain but unfortunately we can’t go because we’re all sick. My son was diagnosed with asthma and according to his pediatrician; he got it from cold weather. Now it made me wonder if it’s good idea to take my family up there to play with the snow. And now my daughter is sick, my son and I aren’t well yet and now there’s another patient in the house (my daughter). It’s sad because my daughter is only 5 months old and she can’t take any medicines as much as possible because of her age but if she doesn’t get any better and hopefully she wont have any temperature we might still have to take her to her pediatrician. I’m anxious to get well soon!
They’re gone!
My husband has been complaining about lack of industrial supplies. He said that the guy who supplies the shop with industrial supplies comes in every Wednesday stocks up the shop. He was looking for teflon sealant and razor blades but he couldn’t find any because they ran-out of both. He said that the mechanics are getting too many supplies and wasting a lot of it. Because of the bad economy their parts budget are small and they’re not getting more money for parts. So until then my husband has to wait for another week. Oh boy!
Celebrity gossip
There was one famous actor in the Philippines that was believed to be taking some testosterone boosters because of the physical changes that he has right now. He was interviewed about it but he denied the allegations. According to the actor, when he was interviewed, he said he regularly goes to the gym to workout. Anyway, whatever he did that gave him a good body build right now, all I can say is keep doing what you are doing. I know a majority of the celebrities whether local or international at some point of time in their lives, they want to look good and one way of doing that is by taking some supplements like testosterone booster and of course along with exercise.
Seek help and get clean!
Drug and alcohol abuse seems to be a big problem here in the states and it destroys families and takes lives. But like what they’ve always said, that there is hope for a better life. One way, is to go to a drug rehab program to clean yourself physically and spiritually. Anyway, before I met my husband he told me that he had a drug problem and it came to a point where he realized that drugs are not the answer to his problems. He was forced to go to a drug rehab program here in CA to get help. He is 10 years clean now and doing well. If you or a loved one has a drug or alcohol problem, please get some help because it will change your life for the better. There’s no future in drugs.
Hubby’s work is laying people off
My husband came home the other day and told me some bad news about his work that i never thought i would hear. He told me that he saw 2 mechanics from the graveyard shift going into the director of maintenance office and it wasn’t good. He said normally his work doesn’t call people from the graveyard shift to come into the shop at 9am in the morning. My husband said that that was 2 mechanics getting their walking papers (pink slips) to the unemployment office. Wow! And i use that word with a big swallow down my throat. His company has never laid off any people since he has ever known so you know when this happens, the economy is really bad. He said more lay offs are coming. We’re praying he won’t get laid off too! Gosh!
I’m having fun… but not so fun!
I was looking for my old photos and I found a lot of them. Looking at my old photos make me so jealous about how I look before compared to how I look right now. Most of my friends were shocked to see my photos because I was so thin. On the contrary, I look so old right now because of my extra weight and the wrinkles in my face is really adding to my depression. My friend told me i should consider trying some anti aging products that will help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and lines on my face, that way people will give me some positive compliment and not just notice my gained weight. I’m really having fun looking at that sexy body I had but then I feel sad because I look so opposite to that picture right now.

I posted about my friends concern about her dark circle under her eyes in my other blog. I even inserted a photo of her as a proof that she really has dark circle under her eyes. She asks me a favor if I could find her some eye creams or any treatments that will help her get rid of those dark circles. I don’t know what products to buy for her but I can give her this website www.darkcircle-s.com so she can see which products that fits her skin type. I have dark circles under my eyes too but it’s not as bad as my friend does. I hope the website will help her find what best product is good for her.
What a mess
This is what happens when the dishwasher is old and junk lol. When we first moved into this apartment we thought everything is ok and worked good including the kitchen appliances. After few months of staying here we noticed that the big oven isn’t working and the dishwasher is also leaking. Every time I put dishwasher soup in it, it leaks all over the kitchen floor. Good thing we have a wet vacuum cleaner as it makes our job a lot easier. So what I do now is soap all those dishes on the sink and load them inside the dishwasher afterwards for rinsing and drying process.
